A truely authentic Chicago-style Hot Dog does NOT include ketchup. If you insist upon using ketchup, we recommend staying in the privacy of your own home with the shades drawn. Never mention it to anyone!
The Doctor offers some other recommended uses for the red stuff:
Shine your Copper Pots - Ketchup with a pinch of salt will eliminate the most stubborn spots.
Auto Parts - really shine with a little application of ketchup.
Skunk Odors - A snap with a little help from some ketchup.
Chlorine Damaged Hair - Green is in, except for your hair. Reverse chlorine damage with a 20-minute ketchup soak.
Kid Friendly Ice Packs - Throw those ketchup packs in the freezer for a quik "boo boo" fix.
